Our goal is to provide you with essential information in order to make data driven decisions on the best path forward for public safety cellular.
After reviewing this data, we recommend having a discussion focused on if your current cellular service provider (Verizon) is meeting your network and customer service needs or if you believe another carrier could provide better service.
BlueGovTech has the following services to assist your agency's roadmap forward, specific to cellular services.
Contract Negotiations: Though we are carrier agnostic and do not receive financial incentives from any carrier, we do have great working relationships with both T-Mobile and AT&T/FirstNet. With our Contract Negotiations service, we begin engaging with both T-Mobile and AT&T to get your agency the best possible rates and incentives for a potential migration away from Verizon. We then create a Carrier Pricing & Incentive Report which you can use to evaluate competitive pricing and determine which carrier best meets your needs. This process usually takes approximately 3-4 weeks.
Migration Services: If your agency does elect to migrate services from Verizon to another carrier, we can fully manage every step of this project, including:
Identification of all lines of service/devices being migrated to new carrier
Creation of new carrier accounts
Ordering and receiving new equipment
Providing all phone accessories (cases, chargers, screen protectors)
Organizing and preparing devices for deployment
Scheduling deployment dates for users to trade in old devices and get new devices
Creating an online portal for users to individually schedule a date/time they want to migrate their device
Processing and decommissioning all old cellular devices
Managed Cellular Services: On behalf of your agency, we can manage all your accounts with the cellular service providers and import your devices and accounts into our online portal. Our online portal allows your agency to see all lines of service and cellular devices in one easy to use platform, regardless of carrier. We then pay each cellular service provider on your behalf and provide monthly billing and usage statements directly to your agency.
